Why people will choose the Dainik Bhaskar newspaper?

Dainik Bhaskar is a very good newspaper in our country, its presentation is very attractive, news research is extensive and explained in a simple manner. But we would say its better for local and regional news. Its national and international news is just average though it has several tie-ups with foreign media houses they don’t serve the purpose. Consult some other newspaper for national news. If you want to choose this newspaper then it’s up to you

History :

In the year 1948, Dainik Bhaskar newspaper was launched to fulfill the need for a Hindi language newspaper. It was launched under the name Subah Savere in Bhopal and Good Morning India in Gwalior. After 1957,  this newspaper was renamed Bhaskar Samachar. In the year of 1958,  Bhaskar Samachar was renamed Dainik Bhaskar. Dainik Bhaskar was one of the most successful newspapers in Madhya Pradesh in the year 1995 and was declared the fastest-growing daily newspaper in India by a readership survey. After some time the company decided to expand the newspaper outside Madhya Pradesh, and identified Jaipur,  as the market with the highest potential.

After this in the year of 1996, the goal was to start a business in  Jaipur as the No. 2 newspaper, by circulation on its first day, of 50,000 copies. To achieve their target, an in-house team of 700 surveyors surveyed 200,000 potential paper households in Jaipur. Based on its feedback, they went back to each of the households surveyed to show them a prototype of the newspaper and gave them the option of an advance subscription. The buyers were offered a subscription price of Rs.1.50, and a refund in case of not satisfaction.

When this newspaper launched in Jaipur in 1996, it was the No. 1 newspaper by selling with172,347 copies. The Amar Ujala is a Hindi-dialect every daily paper distributed in the country. It has 19 number of versions in seven states and one union domain covering total167 regions. Rajasthan Patrika was the former leader, had a circulation of around 100,000 copies in those days. Then Dainik Bhaskar successfully adopted a similar model paper in other cities of Rajasthan, including Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur, Kota, and Ajmer Sikar, and becoming the No. one urban newspaper of the entire state by the year of 1999.

Their next target was Chandigarh. The paper launched a customer survey at the beginning of January 2000 and coverd220,000 households. That time  Dainik Bhaskar’s survey suggested that residents of Chandigarh preferred English-language newspapers due to quality perceptions. As a result of that, the newspaper incorporated the dialect of the local place in the design, mixing Hindi and the English language. The Bhaskar first time launched in Chandigarh in May 2000 with 69,000 copies sold making it No.1 in this city. Dainik Bhaskar launched in Punjab in the year 2006, with the Amritsar and Jalandhar editions, and became the most successful newspaper on the first day. Later, it increased its circulation in Punjab in Ludhiana and Bhatinda. In 2010, Dainik Bhaskar started its business in the Jharkhand market with the launch of a Ranchi edition, followed by Jamshedpur and Dhanbad editions.
