History of Deepika Newspaper :

The Deepika newspaper daily was founded in 1887. In the month of April 1992, an evening edition named Rashtra Deepika was added to the newspaper group. Deepika completed it’s  125 years of service in the year of 2012. Crossing this golden lettered time, Deepika started many types of celebrations. One of the most attractions was the special animation exhibition by Mr. Raju Nair. It was held at Thiruvananthapuram this year. Very popular artist Mr. Kanhayi Kunhiraman inaugurated the exhibition. People from various fields visited the exhibition hall. This is the newspaper company’s flagship publication and also has been a trendsetter among newspapers of this State, pioneering innovation and brand new technology.
